Peter Day Creative.



Peter started his career in Advertising at JWT London as an Art Director. During his time at Thompson's he also worked for the agency in Europe, with stints in Paris, Amsterdam, and Istanbul as a Senior AD.

While at JWT Peter worked on a variety of National and International accounts including Kellog's, Kraft, and Lever Brothers, along with a number of high profile businesses such as Guiness and British Airways. His London work won him awards and national recognition.

He came to Canada in the 8o's to work for Young & Rubicam as an Associate Creative Director.

Peter has worked at other international shops during his career in Toronto, including DDB Needham, where he garnered National and International awards for his work on Levi's and Porsche.

In 1987 he formed Deacon Day Advertising ( affiliated to Lowe and Partners ) which he ran successfully for 6 years, before merging with Scali McCabe Sloves Toronto in 1993.

Since then Peter has held Creative Director positions at three other Toronto Agencies before joining MacLaren McCann as VP CD in 2002.

Presently Peter is running his own Creative Consultancy.

Apart from his extensive automotive experience, Peter has also worked for a number of blue chip retailers such as the Hudson Bay Co, Rogers Communications, and most recently producing award winning work for Wendy's and Staples Business Depot.

When he is not crafting ad's Peter loves to paint, cook, and design gardens. And it's not unusual to find him on some quiet stretch of water tickling the odd trout with a fly.
